Welcome to my blog!

Hello and welcome to the official Book of Marcus page! With this blog I hope to shed a little light into the workings of relationships.
To start off I'll tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Marcus Jimenez and I currently live in the city of San Antonio, Texas. I'm an English major on my last year (hopefully) of college and before choosing English as my major I had contemplated being a psychologist and ended up taking both regular and AP Psychology and Sociology in high school for preparation. After deciding to do English I still had an interest in the two fields previously mentioned so I took more Psychology and Sociology classes in my early years of college. Another of my interests was Philosophy due to my argumentative personality. Some of my hobbies include producing music, art, photography, and skateboarding.
Now to talk about what this blog will be focused around. A lot of times we meet a person who we would like to have as a significant other but we're just not sure of how to go about doing so. I'm going to attempt to help you take the first steps towards guiding you into how to approach the beginning of the relationship as well as taking it to the next level (becoming exclusive) and how to keep the relationship going strong. I will attempt to keep this as focused on both genders as I possibly can however being a guy some of the stories I provide will be from my own point of view. As a heterosexual male I have no experience whatsoever in the realm of homosexual relationships aside from what a few of my friends have shared with me. I am not against gay marriage or same-sex couples nor am I homophobic but as many of my openly gay friends have found out, act gay towards me and I will become uncomfortable in the situation. So on the terms of same-sex relationships I hope you can find some useful points in my blog but keep in mind that I have no experience whatsoever on the subject so not all information will be viable to you.
This blog is NOT about the art of picking up chicks/men, how to produce one-night stands, or lying. I do not promote lying in any way shape or form because that reduces the stability of a relationship. The furthest I will go in my blog will be either recommending that you say nothing at all or that you "beat around the bush."  This blog is also not intended to be used for adultery or any form of cheating within a relationship so if YOU as the reader decided to use this for that purpose and you get caught it is all on you.
My advice is not 100% full proof  but it does have some backing to it so don't expect to work in certain situations.
